Hello everyone,

We wish you all the best in 2007!  Hope everyone had a great Christmas.

Here are a few pictures from the last week.  We really enjoyed Mitch, Laura and Mollie coming to Ontario to visit. They arrived on Saturday December 23rd and stayed with us until Friday.

On Monday, we hosted a Christmas turkey dinner in Stittsville. Ladies, thank you so much for all your help! We then visited some of the Don family members and had a Vanderveen gathering on Boxing Day.  Ype and Gail, you have a beautiful home!!!!  We also really enjoyed our lunch with Beppe.  On Wednesday, Laura, Mitch, Mollie, Lyne, Kris, Matt and I went to ” The Works” and did a little shopping. On Saturday afternoon, we went to see the movie “Night at the Museum”  while Bill and Clare babysat little Mollie. For New Years Eve, we had a Murder Mystery Fondue dinner at Kris and Lyne’s place.  We also played a little Balderdash and Texas hold-om.  It was a night that we will never forget.  Good food and great company!

I was going through some old pictures and I came across a Vanderveen family picture from our wedding in August 2000, so I thought I would share.  Its pretty cool to see how everyone has changed. Anyways, Matt and I are really enjoying this new site and its nice to hear from everyone. Maybe, we will write more later.  Take care. 

Matt and I had a pretty busy week-end but it was nice to see all the Don family members again. 

On Friday, Matt and I went golfing at Emerald links together. The weather was beautiful and we had a lot of fun. The trees looked amazing, check out the picture below.  

On Saturday, we went to Kris and Lyne’s place.  The girls went shopping in Merrickville while the boys played golf.  Afterwards, we all had dinner at “Spruits”.  The food was pretty good. 

On Sunday, Kris played in Church, then we went to Oma’s place for lunch.
